Satellite High School Instrumental Music ProgramSatellite High School Instrumental Music Program

When it comes to music, there’s no place better than the Satellite High School Instrumental Music Program, Brevard County’s award winning program and part of the Satellite Academy of Fine Arts. Under the Direction of Mark Nelson and Mark Sunderland, we offer the most diverse course selection in the county and are a State of Florida Music Demonstration School.  Join us for the most enriched music education program available on the Space Coast.

News & Announcements
Satellite Symphonic Orchestra Shows Patriotism in the Community for Flag Day!
The Satellite High School Symphonic Orchestra will be placing an American Flag in the front yard of every beachside home from the Pineda Causeway to the Eau Gallie Causeway between June 10-14. We anticipate placing 10,000 flags in the ground during this time leading up to Flag Day (June 14). We will also place a flyer on each door to share where the flag came from and how people can make donations if they so desire.

The music program will present a patriotic show this year at Friday night football games beginning September 3 and again at seven concerts throughout the year. We hope the community will enjoy their flag and consider making a donation to the music program to help us raise our goal of $83,000 to send Symphonic Orchestra music students to the MidWest Clinic in Chicago.

If you'd like to volunteer to help with the Flag Day activities, or would like to donate to our fundraising efforts, contact Dianne Nelson at 591-8851 or via email.
