MARCHING BAND
The uniform of the Satellite High School Band colorfully represents the school.  The uniform is fitted during band camp before school begins.  A uniform cleaning fee must be paid before the uniform will be issued.  Deposits or payments for the uniform cleaning fee will not be refunded for any reason if a student drops out of band.  If the student damages or loses any portion of the uniform, the pieces will be replaced at the student’s expense. Students should wear shorts and t-shirt UNDER their uniform.

MARCHING BAND COSTUME SHOW ATTIRE

If you are a band member wearing a costume these are the uniform guidelines. If you are a band member wearing the traditional marching uniform, please see guidelines below.

Boys in costume should be wearing:

1.   No Show black socks

2.  White "muscle t-shirts" (something that doesn't show under their costume shirt)

3.  Shorts

4.  Marching shoes

5.  Long hair needs to be up

Girls in costume should be wearing:

1.   No Show black socks

2.  T-shirt and shorts under costume

3.  Black marching shoes

4.  Hair should be in a neat (tidy) bun on the top (not back) of your head. If your hair is too short to be in a bun on top of the head, you should French braid or French twist it so it is tight against your head. NO PONYTAILS!

Note: Costumes will be laundered weekly by SIMPPA and should not be taken home. It should be expected that costumes will evolve over the marching season. Questions regarding the marching band costumes should be directed to Mrs. Nelson.
